Wish I could give ZERO stars! I would like to alert everyone to avoid using One Way Roofing & Remodeling (Alan Marley) (Lic# CCC1327237) in Florida or Colorado. We entered into a contract with this company for repairs to our home after Hurricane Ian. After multiple delays, subpar workmanship, and Alan Marley mostly ignoring my phone calls and emails, I finally sent him a “Notice of Failure to Perform” letter giving him 48 hours to respond before I took legal action. Alan responded with a casual “Please be advised that I am closing my company down…” I have paid this contractor over $26,000 and have had about half the contracted work completed (to subpar standards). Please be warned to NOT USE this contractor at all costs! He will take your money with no intention of completing the work. I am now left with a leaking roof, no window, half-completed Florida Room, and no carport, and Alan has absolutely no remorse or intention to return any of my money or attempt to complete the work remaining. I have pleaded with him to do the right thing, but he simply responds by email stating “Like I said, I have shut down my company”. I would hate for this to happen to anyone else – so BE WARNED! I have since found out that he has done the same thing to multiple people in Florida. He simply walks away once he has your money. ***Please note his disparaging and unprofessional response to me below. None of what he stated was true. Please feel free to search the various internet review sites for similar reviews to mine - you will see a pattern. If only he was as quick to respond to customers during the construction phase as he is to respond to Google reviews, LOL.

Absolutely loved my experience with this company! Alan took care of all the details of my roof and exterior work. He was easy to get ahold of and very considerate of my needs. His crew was very quick, easy to work with and did a great job with cleaning up. I would highly recommend using this company for your next home project!

When the Hurricane hit us in October of 2018 . I had signed up with One Way . I had to have my roof redone and siding and a roof on my shed . During that time One Way was very helpful to me about understanding the insurance process and the process of it all . Everything was done in a timely manner . All of us know that when we have workers come to your house you will have some debri left over . But my yards was left very clean. And all the workers where polite and thoughtful of us. Since it has been almost 2 years i have not had any leaks on either roof . And my roofs did pass inspection . So I would recommend One Way to do my roof again . Thank you Cathy

Buyer beware. Don't give your money to this outfit. They do not pay their subcontractors.This will keep you waiting for work to be completed. Buyer beware. He is a scam artist. He may get your roof or work done eventually. But how long do you want to wait.
